Keel is the main character in a novel I am writing. He works for a secretive group that operates out of western Canada that has connections to a larger organization made up of simiar groups in the British Commonwealth. This first story connects the Alberta Oilsands and a University of Alberta graduate student who has come up with a more efficient way of extracting the oil from the sand, thus possibly tilting the balance of oil power in the world.
